I'm citing the words he said out of his mouth. This post is exactly for people like you who disregard the possibilty because it conflicts with your confirmation bias.
Trump was a morally bankrupt man for many years. This is an easily searchable fact. While you can forgive the sin, to forget it is learn nothing. Personally I hold Jefferson in high regard, but that doesn't mean I excuse him for owning slaves or water down the fact that when it came to "All Men Are Created Equal" Jefferson failed to do more. Does that negate the good he did and make ideas wrong? No. But that doesn't excuse his mistakes.
Trump can't go back and unrecord the things he said nor can he unfuck Stormy Daniels. These are simple facts that cannot be changed or altered. Instead of brushing them off of watering them down as you just did, we need to embrace and accept them. There is no argument or defense that needs to be made with Trump's failures and agreeing with people calling him out on it doesn't magically make us anti-Trump communists. If anything it helps unite us as a country.
A lot of liberals close themselves off to discussion because people excuse Trump's past behavior. There is nothing that should ever be excused and when we accept that we can better persuade people to MAGA when they start to realize we don't hold Trump above ourselves.
And yes, I'm going to stir the pot as long as truth is distorted and people make excuses. If we are truly seeking enlightenment, that means accepting reality which means accepting the reality that Trump is broken like the rest of us and possibly moreso.
As to your false claim of contributing nothing, one I contribute ideas and perspectives which we freely exchange in the effort to keep discussion free and open. Two, I do also contribute useful things where people can get involved:
So, you basically are saying we should ignore the good Trump has done because of the negatives in the past? That nothing he has done more recently matters because he fucked up in the past? Cool.
Or, are you saying we should regard Trump as a man and not above us? Uh. Yeah, I’ve been doing that. To paint the entire site here as biased is ridiculous though, especially linking to a low-effort meme thread. Find some Trump vaccine threads.
Could it also be that, like the Donald, maybe some people love being hyperbolic in the love for Trump because it pisses the other side off? All I know is, you’re free to feel that way, but I’ve gone through enough threads to see posters engage in discussions about Trump that weren’t always rosy.
Bringing up liberals being closed off to discussion works both ways. Can’t talk about Pelosi insider trading, or Joe sniffing kids. You’re pondering olive branch conversations, and that tree burned up a while ago.
Trump fucked Stormy Daniels? Ok. He shouldn’t have done that. Does that make me think less of him? Thinking of him as a husband, I guess. Does it affect my thoughts on his political moves? Not really. Sorry. Love the sinner, hate the sin. I have a friend who cheated on her husband. I’ll never ask her for relationship advice, but she can code like a motherfucker. Am I supposed to think her work is subpar because she fucked someone else?
I guess where some people come to an impasse is: how long do we punish someone for an action, and does one action negate everything else done? Also, each person’s moral compass comes into play. Where I see you are having a hard time is the level of severity you feel is not being placed upon Trump’s actions.
So, feel free to constantly bring up all the bad I suppose. I don’t see the point in it. I’ll never defend Trump as a husband, but do I let that affect my view of him as working to the betterment of America? Not as much as you’d like it to, I guess.
Hey, as for you linking to take action, good for you. Happy to walk that back. But your thoughts and discussion points just seem to be telling this board they are lazy and wrong. Which again, I think is unhelpful.
Be intellectually dishonest.
Oh no one is blind faith hero worshiping?

If you wanna keep strawmanning, go right ahead. I'll simply stop responding.
