Can confirm. Apparently hospital and Dr. make way more money with C sections. Also allows them to have many more patients delivering no more waiting around for pesky mother nature. You can go with home birth or you can try and find an honest OBGYM group that isn't fond of C sections.

They won’t take their first breath immediately. Plus there is no risk of the cord like breaking baby's neck or anything - its just a scare line they use to encourage gutting mom and fishing for baby. The doctor should be trained to use their finger to scoop under the cord around the neck and pull it over baby's head no problem. Its the easiest thing in the world.

Well if what they keep saying with the birthrate is true maybe they will allow moms to take their time.
