Not really. I am retired and just got a smart phone a few months ago. I got it for emergency situations. I do not go out except for shopping and Doctor's appointments. The home phone is a land line. Would the video work at night? If you could give me more info I would truly appreciate it as I am near tears when I finally go to bed.
