Was thinking the same thing. I feel pity for her. They took her at her youth, and molded something they wanted. Now she will perform how they see fit. It’s sad really. That girl has probably never thought for herself since she was asking for toys at Christmas, when she was 5.
and that is different from anyone with outspoken, opinionated parents, how? Hers just happened to be savvy enough to get her a place in the media.
I’m outspoken, I’m opinionated, my kids think for themselves. I’ve got many friends who are outspoken and opinionated, their kids don’t need handlers, and are now outspoken and opinionated themselves. And have have different views than their parents.
Maybe your theory is from your own personal experience. But I’n my world, we teach our kids what’s right and wrong. Male, Female. God, Satan. Help, hurt. Sense and common sense. This young lady has been made to speak this way. She is just a poster child, adult now. To pass views onto others in the form of, next gen. If you think her raising it the same as an average child. That’s scary.
Ok but do your friends children have Asperger's? She needed help, and this is a much nicer life for her than if she as just an average autistic spectrum 'nobody'.
Obviously this opinion is going to get downvoted, but I simply don't understand the malice toward Greta and I think that hiding behind some sentamentalist rhetoric about her qUaLiTy Of LiFe is a crock, to be frank. It looks like she has a nice quality of life.
People don't like her because she got a lot of attention without doing much or anything herself. But life ain't fair. Also, I know this site is hard right leaning , so again, I expect to be downvoted for this stance. Greta is not that different to me than a Candice Owens type of figure, just that she has autism and gets all this frankly offensive pushback about "not being able to think for herself". ... but I'm pretty sure a lot of Aspies lead very normal lives and are able to see right from wrong. Awaiting downvotes.
Actually my youngest son is autistic. Is going to trade school currently. Was band captain in his high school, and could play the crap out of some drums. His band won state champs twice in his four years. And he thinks for himself. It takes parenting. But this girl is being used, plain and simple. I would never have left my son with these animals. Unlike my son, she wasn’t protected. Now she is a weapon.
