Trump said on an interview at the time that both towers were built extremely well and very tough, having a steel exoskeleton outside as well as the solid core on the inside. Missiles were fired at the buildings and charges were set to make it look as if a plane did indeed crash. There are interviews of people at the time that said they heard a missile rather than airplanes.

There are also videos and artifacts showing that pictures of airplanes were layered on to where the missiles were.
