I wonder if he ever took that oath. Many years ago I read an article about how new medical graduates were being pressured by their colleges into not taking that oath, with existing doctors perplexed as to why that would be..

And all of these doctors now mid-career are probably the current crop of people killing their patients. I think the groundwork for this has been in the making for decades..

He is old enough to be of the oath takers era, but never considered taking on patients, thus making the oath unnecessary... in his mind..
