Maybe a simple answer is all that is needed. To defeat evil, we need to be right with God. All of us should pray daily to ask for forgiveness for our misdeeds and to ask God for guidance. A call for 21 days of prayer is a good way to set a goal for all of us to do what we should have been doing anyway.
