Years ago, I maintained an antique water treatment plant and the sewer system feeding it, and when the 2 foot mains were plugged by tree roots, I had to stick my sometime injured hands into the gloopy soup-I am immune to much even now.. I thank God for my strong immune system by not presuming to "improve" on it..
Wow...my buddy in HS worked at our towns water treatment plant. Rough job f’real.
This was out in California in the 70s, when the standards were the strictest in the nation-I was lucky if I hit below the marks needed to pass. The plant WAS that old and an earthquake would have destroyed the digester!!. The one high point were the cherry tomatoes in the drying bed-they were yummy (yet here I am, 76 YO 😁)..
