Agreed. A person cannot claim innocence (I didn't know!) when they were provided information and chose to look the other way and ignore.

We're not talking about the child who said he didn't eat any cookies when he has chocolate on his face.

We are talking about serious harm to billions of people. Looking away from that is hard to forgive.
