I talked with a guy not too long ago who is a consultant in the cellular field. Towers on rooftops, etc. He works out of So. Cal and basically the push is for internet TV - so people on the cost can get signals, etc. Anyway, he was explaining how intense it (5G) can be. He showed a picture of a commercial building that had a staircase up to the rooftop and how the antenna was positioned - he said the hypothetical guy going up to the staircase to grab a smoke would have his retinas burned the way the antenna was positioned. It was a little alarming.
