Looks like you need to brush up on medical physiology. It's not as cut and dry as calories in/calories out.
You could eat 2500 calories of mostly fat and protein a day and potentially lose weight and actually gain weight even if you ate only 1200-1500 calories on a high carb diet (especially if you followed bad diet advice of eating more frequent smaller meals throughout the day).
INSULIN IS A HORMONE ASSOCIATED WITH ENERGY ABUNDANCE
As we discuss insulin in the next few pages, it will become apparent that insulin secretion is associated with energy abundance. That is, when a person’s diet includes a great abundance of foods that provide energy, especially excess amounts of carbohydrates, insulin secretion increases. In turn, the insulin plays an important role in storing the excess energy. In the case of excess carbohydrates, it causes them to be stored as glycogen, mainly in the liver and muscles. Furthermore, all the excess carbohydrates that cannot be stored as glycogen are converted under the stimulus of insulin into fats and stored in adipose tissue. In the case of proteins, insulin has a direct effect in promoting amino acid uptake by cells and conversion of these amino acids into protein. In addition, it inhibits breakdown of proteins that are already in the cells.

A lot of people have no idea how to eat well and working out doesn't do anything to help you lose weight if you're not eating properly. Reducing insulin spikes and reducing carbohydrate consumption is the key, which is why keto works so well for weight loss for so many, even if they're eating complete garbage AKA dirty keto.
I suppose in a child like understanding of the laws of thermo dynamics you might have something there. 🤔
Of course using your.logic then the obese should be jumping off the walls with so much pent up energy in their cells.
Right? It's juat energy right? #8yearoldlogic
So tells us. What happens when gremlin is low and the mitochondria are sick? Or even much of the mitochondria have died off due to ROS? Hmmm....
Or what if there is a lack of phosphate in the diet? How do they generate ATP?
What if the diet is high fiber vs low? Or if much of the carbohydrate is insoluble?
None of that matters though right? Because like my 3 year old says, "good make you gain weight..."🥴
So in other words you are sticking with the 8 year old logic?
Couldnt understand Biggest Loser study or damaged metabolism.
Everyone apparently on weight watchers is losing weight hand over fist and no fat people ever exercise without becoming thin and healthy in your fairy tale world?
Must be ab amazing place where cancer patients don't waste away if you give them extra food. Fat people have the most energy of everyone but just don't want to use it.
You should write a book.... and in crayon might be appropriate.
What is your deal? You don't get fat from eating well and working out.
If you burn more calories than you consume and you will lose weight; the opposite and you will gain weight.
Please don't argue with me; argue with the laws of physics governing our universe.
the guy arguing with you is crazy.
a person can water fast / eat healthier and reverse diabetes, cure cancer, lose fat, etc.
the whole metabolic damage is dumb too. just because one eats less than they used to and gain weight isn't a negative.
it's a positive to easily store fat. that's how our bodies work. we weren't made to eat 24/7 nonstop.

Oh brother.
How many pseudoscientific pretenses are you going to try to sling to convince yourself that not being able to lose weight is outside of your control?
How’s that working out for you?
If it’s not, be genuinely open to change.

How’s all your “diet science” working for you? 🧐
