SUMMARY: This video is a bit dishonest in it's title.
The "Whistleblower" is an ex-employee of Cognizant that had low-level access to vetting what we refer to in the tech industry as "Abuse Reports".
That is Facebook™ has so large of a firehose of content being created they can not monitor it all and have contracted out some of that monitoring in a pathetic way of pretending they can keep up in any way, shape, or form - they can't.
Mind you - Facebook was originally developed by DARPA as LifeLog. The goal is not just to get people's private information and content online into a centralized ledger - but to also push real-time content INTO the minds of those people.
I worked in Abuse in 2005 - 2007 or so and actually saw some crazy shit. I worked with reporting content to Homeland Security, FBI, Secret Service, Local Police in various locations, and even the Texas Rangers ( yes if you are in Texas the Texas Ranger will facilitate Cyber-Crime and they are hardcore ).
That all said - I did basically what this guy was told to do - except I worked for a smaller place. What that meant was instead of just doing grunt-level reporting ( as this dude did ) I actually took my reports directly to Law Enforement and acted as a Liason. Know what FBI / Homeland wanted to do 99% of the time? Leave it up. Terrible right? Not really.
You have to understand what prosecution of his shit works as it's %1000 relevant to the White Hat "The Plan" itself. Logical Thinking. They wanted it left online so they could monitor who was looking at it and open investigations into every fucking person there. Do I know this is what Facebook is doing? No I don't think they give two shits as long as it's happening on their Digital Ghetto and THEY KNOW that even with AI they can never manage the size of their Firehose. What I am saying is I fed data to investigations in real-time and they tried to recruit me in as an Analyst because at the time most people knew jack shit about web-hosting or the internet in general. I did this for a bit and then had to split cuz it's honestly terribly hard on your mind.
The last thing I can say is - Centralized Social Media is evil. Inherently. You can't create the keys to the castle and not have Psychopathic Satanic Spirit gravitate to it. if it can control people - people will seek it to do so. Technology is about what is enough" not "Let's see how far this sucker goes." We are way ahead of what we can deal with already and it's only quickening.
Yes you are correct. that is part of the excuse FB used, as the WB explains, how law enforcement or concerned citizens would report and it would get taken down. Except it doesn't. Gee I wonder who reported the little girl filmed having sex with the pig and then the pig being shot while still engaged in the act. Answer? No one. Her parents kept filming this shit and sold longer versions. On facebook. in a "private group" with some innocuous name except to those in the know. It all needs to end because it cannot be controlled and tragic things are happening every minute of every hour. Allowing is condoning. Period.

Repeatedly I asked for updates and they wouldn’t say anything.
Personally - if they found them and nuked them in the spot I would have been ok with it. Some of the things were really bad. I stopped even using real browsers and used text only so I didn’t have to see it anymore.
