Hi, so I made the HM HCQ with the Organic grapefruits and lemons and I have 3 jars. 2 I froze and 1 I am useing daily for prevention. 2 Tbs 2xdaily. My questions are this.
- I am also taking Quercetin. Is that a conflict?
- Does anyone know how long the refrigerated one last? Will it go bad in a week or so?
As to #1, perhaps you could inquire with your local pharmacist about if there are known drug interactions between quercetin and HydroxyChloroquine?
But I guess that might only work if you had a small private our franchise pharmacy that knows you personally. Good luck.
I’m doing grapefruit and I peel the thin orange skin leaving as much of the white as possible chop it up into small pieces and blend it with a cup of water. I put this in the refrigerator and drink a fourth per day. I take my 25mg of zinc with it.
I did the grapefruit in place of quercetin.
Okay, so it's safe to say from all the replies it's one or the other and the HCQ is probably a better bet. Thanks so much
I find the grapefruit the easiest to get and it is the most natural.
Do you do Gratefruit and lemons? I peeled the skins and simmered for 3 hrs. 2 to 3 each. Made about 3 jars full.
I have not tried lemons. I don’t want it too sour.
quercetin is meant to be used when you can't get hcq - they are both vehicles to get zinc into your cells - hcq is more powerful in that regard

they are both zinc ionophores (could not remember the term a minute ago)
What would be conflicted ? You are using Grape fruit and lemons peels along with soda water.
Soda or Tonic?
This!
Soda water?
I make 3/4 of a gallon of quinine at a time, usually lasts about 2 weeks.just like any citrus drink, if it smells bad, don't drink it. I use a fresh plastic water jug each time also, or wash the previous one out real good with hot water.
do not use plastic ... use glass jars that have an airtight seal
For freezing or everyday use? I reuse plastic water jugs for everyday use just for convenience.
Yes, that is what I was told too so that is why I used glass jars. I figured the plastic chemicals would leak into it.
Thanks !!
how does it taste, super bitter/bad?
You would think it would be bitter but it's not. It taste like it smells. Not pleasant but I am getting used to it.
cool, i was thinking of making some and maybe adding honey or something
Grapefruit quinine is very bitter. We just use a shot glass and take it with d and zinc with a vitamin c chaser, lol. Just pretend it's whiskey. Good luck!
Really mine wasn't bitter maybe more on the slightly sour side. I simmered for 3 hrs so maybe that is the difference. It seems some make it differently. Curious to know the different ways people are making it and if the differences effect the outcome of its use.
Grapefruit peels taste like tonic water. I find it quite delicious and sometimes I will blend it with a guava.
Yes, it does taste a bit like tonic water which I don't like so that is why I probably find it unpleasant. Didn't connect the taste.... Thanks
