Why not pray for the grace and strength to let it go and to understand, and to be there to support her if she gets sick? Her choice is really an affront to your ego, and its taking a bruising for sure. But see if you can get past that and just let it play out. You love her. You wouldn't feel this anger if you didn't. If she is fine afterwards, then move on, and you'll have to bite your tongue and show some humility. If she is ill or worse, then you are there to help her, and you'll still have to bite your tongue and show even more humility.
