I’m not much younger than you. Worked for years in a high-paying job I don’t love. Kids, health insurance, bills, blah blah blah. Kids are now grown. One died at 23 due to bad mixture of xanax (Pfizer drug) and something else. Fit vaxed BIL, age 56, with no history of heart issues died last month of heart attack. It’s time.
Very similar story. Mid level mgt in Fortune 100 company for 30 years. Big money, small life. Watched a lot of stupid in 2020, knowing the entire time it was a scam. Attended the funeral of 2 veteran relatives "COVID" style. I lost my parents and son to "the science" really before 2020 (brainwashed). I jumped out of the shit late 2020 & went to a small private ag company, Back to where I started the first 22 years of life (and loved it back then). Loads of fun and lot's of life. Despite all the shit around us, as nerve racking as it is, I love going to work.
Good for you! And my condolences for your son and parents. We had a feeling things were going downhill and a couple years ago bought a small farm in a rural area for less than our suburb cul de sac house. We reduced our cost of living so I feel fortunate. I will be working to help our people in any way I can.
With your talent, you could teach others via Skillshare (or other site) how to draw and illustrate. I have been itching to use my meager skill for a greater purpose, but I don't have much confidence. I would gladly pay a patriot to learn from!
There is a lot of talent out there. I'd be willing to participate in a business development group online or meeting in person to pool talent, resources and ideas.
I've found the make up of a team is everything. The peeps can get anything done theybwant.
I’d like that too. We all need to find ways to connect and help each other with the material part of our needs. Most likely an alternative economy will develop.
Late 20’s here. Also in a Fortune 500, management level. Soul sucking to say the least and are now pushing mandates.
Taking this time at home to start up my own entertainment business, always been into music and am taking the leap. Already have a few jobs lined up. Hoping I can turn this into something successful and never have to give an ounce of my energy to corporate BS again.
That is great!! You are doing the right thing. We were not designed to be slaves to a job. We've all gotten caught up in the world, we allowed the evil to run things for decades. They sucked us into materialism, normalized debt, glitz and glitter. We turned into hamster on a wheel chasing the almighty dollar. We took our eye off of numerous balls. Anyway, don't want to be talking to you like my kids, but just follow your heart, do what is right, be kind to others, love as many people as you can & take care of the body God gave you. All the other shit will shake out. Sorry for the long winded reply. Very best wishes.
