My perception of “zombie” is different than what I think these guys are referring to. I imagine a humanoid like creature looking to attack and consume the bodies of clean individuals. The prions disease seems to act more like an auto immune disease until it causes the host to die. I suppose there are similarities but the article didn’t go into a zombie direction, in my opinion.
