(Every resistance counts) Sydney Catholic Church facing issues with ‘handful’ of priests refusing to get vaccinated despite Archbishop's pleas

Father Gleeson said despite continual “exhortations” to get the jab from Archbishop Fisher the church was facing some vaccine resistance.

“There are some priests who are saying no, I am not going to be vaccinated,” Father Gleeson said on Doogue’s podcast.

Father Gleeson said while the church respected the individual freedoms around vaccination they were faced with a dilemma.

Due to the church not being a corporation it does not have the power to fire or move priests who want to continue hosting mass while they refuse to get vaccinated.

As a Catholic myself, I urge these priests to RESIST. You are on God's side. The vast majority of Catholics are good. We have been deceived for a long time by our leadership. Much like the US, come to think about it. Having corrupt leadership doesn't make you a bad person. Not resisting it when it is evident DOES.
