In a scene in the movie, police were investigating a crime and suddenly FBI agents showed up, were highly respected... and actually began helping and solving the crime.
I realized while watching that how far things have fallen.

Was the plot twist that the FBI had set up the crime to begin with? But I jest.
There are a few shows on TV right now (FBI, FBI Most Wanted, and others) that try their damnedest to "rehabilitate" the FBI image. It's sad really....the only integrity left for the FBI is in a fictitious TV show. J. Edgar Hoover is probably turning over in his Dior gown right about now.
A few weeks ago I thought something was up when I saw the influx of "pro-FBI" television shows.
