Some children have communication disorders and can't or won't tell what's happening. The peer pressure school environment does strange things to kids and they have them for more waking hours, so guess where the loyalty might wind up?

The school system is not designed to make a child the best they can be, but to make the most obedient worker. By homeschooling my kids for the past 14 years, they have learned ownership over their education and don't look to an authority figure for approval.
