I work for for the VA. Mandatory testing begins on the 18th of October. I won't be letting them do a deep nasal swab. I've watched the analysis of the "swabs", done by multiple scientists and doctors. They aren't swabs. Any suggestions on what I can do to avoid it or do a different test?

There is a saliva test for CID-19. I just had one yesterday for the first time. You spit into a tunnel with a funnel on the top. You need to fill up to a black wavy line. Then you remove the funnel and put a cap on the tube. As you squeeze it closed - a blue liquid shoots out from the cap. You then mix it. by shaking. That's it. I am not sure of the cost. I was told $124 on the phone but the website lists it as $100. Most medical insurance covers it, Medicare B and Medicaid covers it. If you have no insurance, then my state covers it through the CARES ACT. I was told it takes about 3-5 days to get results by email. You have to set up an appointment online and you need ID and insurance ID pics.
