This drug is extremely dangerous. It is not a better version of Ivermectin. I don't know where that story got started. This drug has a history like the jabs. Merck had it shelved because it showed that it could cause cancer - it is mutagenic. It can change our DNA. The mechanism of action for this drug, whether made in India or by Merck, is not the same as Ivermectin - apples and oranges here.
Merck, like all the other pharma companies, has decided that Covid is a great excuse to blow the cobwebs off of all their previously failed drugs. An EUA allows them to test on the public in huge clinical trials while having complete immunity from liability. They have died and gone to heaven with this scenario. The taxpayers get to pay for it and these companies are giddy with all the money they can make. There really is no down side for them.
What the EUAs have done is that all these companies and universities are trying to get into the game and get some of that money. There is a long list of drugs and vaxxcines in the pipeline that have the same story. No new drug is going to be safe or cheap. They are either going to use new untested technology, or they will develop a retread of a current generic med with a tweaked molecule that allows it to be patented - so they can charge the big bucks. Many times it is that tweak that can turn a once safe medication into a killer. Otherwise, they make tons of money on a newly patented expensive drug that in essence is no different than the cheaper generic drug that was modified. We already have safe and effective treatments. So, we do not need any of their new poisons. Do not be fooled. New is not necessarily better when it comes to drugs or medical procedures.
