Revelation 2:22: Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds
Revelation 7:14: And he said to me, These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Daniel 12:1: At that time . . . there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time.
1Thes 5.3,4 While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief
An event which encompasses the whole world.
Mathew 24.14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come
Isaiah 24:19, 20 The earth is broken asunder, The earth is split through, The earth is shaken violently. The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard and it totters like a shack.

2Thes 2b the day of the Lord . . . will not come unless . . . the man of lawlessness is** revealed**, the son of destruction
- who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
2 Thessalonians 2:3: Let no one in any way deceive you, for [the day of the Lord] will not come unless the apostasy comes first.
1 Timothy 4:1: But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.
2 Timothy 3:1-5: But realize this, that in the last days . . . men will be . . . holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power.
2Thes 2.8-13 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness. But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.
Matthew 24:12-13 Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved
As a whole, man has rejected every opportunity that God has given him to demonstrate his trust in Him by obedience to Him
Rev 7.9-14 **I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count from every nation and tribe and people and language standing before the throne and before the Lamb . . ...“These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” **
Rev 21.3,4 “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
the first 3 1/2 years of trib started about 6 months into Trumps presidency, we just entered the last 3 1/2 years. look up the sep 12th sign of 2016 and do the math. it baffles me that no one realises we are smack dab in the middle of tribulation. what people dont also realise is that this is the worst time in history, look at the numbers worldwide. death, kidnappings, beheadings, china... just because its not all happening at once and not on your doorstep (yet) doesnt mean it isnt happening.
The 7 years of Tribulation you're referring to come from Daniel 9:24-27, which was part of a 490 year prophecy.
Daniel 9:24-27
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
In prophecy, a day symbolizes a year. As there are 490 days in a 70 week period (70 X 7 = 490), this equates to 490 years.
Thy people = God's chosen people, the Israel of old
The Israelites had 490 years to do what?
All 6 of these things could only have been fulfilled by the Messiah, Yashua AKA Jesus Christ.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
It took 49 years (7 weeks) to rebuild the temple and an additional 434 years (threescore and 2 weeks = 62 weeks) until Messiah the Prince arrived.
Christ's ministry began roughly around 27 AD, which marks the end of that 483 year period.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
These two verses describe the 7 years which pre-Tribulation rapture dispensationalists magically move into an undetermined future.
Christ was crucified in 30 AD, roughly 3.5 years into the last 7 years of this prophecy AKA in the midst or middle of the week. Did this not cause the sacrificial system and oblation to cease?
This is an interesting take. You're right, I would expect it to be on the doorstep. Yet there are Christians persecuted daily. But shouldn't the first 3.5 years been marked with peace? We've not seen that yet.
