TLDR Fuck Uber

So I'm going to try and keep this as short as possible.

I take Uber on occasion. I usually forgo the mask because they usually do as well. The Uber car is the only instance I have ever worn a mask. I've been kicked out of stores. Out of school. Out of offices. I do my part . I'm the last of the mohicans at work regarding the vaccine.

Anyway, recently I received a notification in my Uber app informing me that I was reported for not wearing a mask and I will be required to take a picture of myself wearing one in order acceptance for a ride henceforth. I found it very weird since both I and the driver were maskless. But I did my usual fuck it and forgot about it. It's now happened two more times, one time I actually had a mask on! so I just asked my last driver and lo and behold....

He said "you know why they're doing that? They get paid for reporting it to Uber. I haven't done it but I know about it. You know it's always about money. "

Yeah. So a business is paying employees to rat out their fellow human beings even when they are unmasked themselves! Fucking unreal
