That is the whole point. Yes, you can still find it here and there - but you are going to pay a highly inflated price for it. I have seen a tube, which has about 5 doses per 250lbs, at almost $50 for something I was paying $3.99 for. The other problem with using the paste is that people are so timid they have a tendency to under dose - that is why the overdose stories were so ridiculous. I have had many patients that tried to do that with antibiotics. They would cut the dosage in half so they could have some for later. With some antibiotics like azithromycin, a huge 1.000mg dose can be taken at once and that's it. Otherwise it's 500mg a day for three days to treat a sinus infection. If people do not dose these medications right, it does not effectively deal with the pathogen. It will selectively allow the stronger versions to survive - think antimicrobial resistance.
I recommend that if people do not know how to dose the paste, get the prescription. That Canadian pharmacy is expensive. There are anons that have used various sites to test them out, so they know they will work. Like I said, the time to stockpile the paste is gone. So, other options will have to be explored. One tube of paste is enough to treat one sick person for a few days. Day one, day three, and day seven, then once a week for maintenance - especially if you are constantly being exposed. My advice to people is do not wait - get some prescriptions now while that window is still open. Glad you got yours.
