The Screenplay was written by Michael Crichton and stars Michael Douglas: definitely Hollywood elites. It's becoming increasingly more difficult to watch Hollywood productions these days knowing what I now know but I do love old movies from this time period. I just watched Soylent Green and it was amazing. I'll definitely watch Coma. Thanks for posting.
Michael Crichton wrote interesting afterwords in his novels. I remember the one he wrote on the book that dealt with climate change and the push of the MSM, government - all the players we see currently- and made a good analogy to eugenics. He was 'shamed' for being a science denier which was laughable given his background.
