I agree - at some point there's going to have to be a balance. Because as soon as those kids are cut loose and find out that a Coca Cola actually tastes pretty damn good and isn't terrible -- you don't know what pandora's box that unleashes in a person's brain.
We need people educated on critical thinking -- you can't critically think about something or someone you are completely agnostic of.
Also where does the line get drawn? They don't know Spider Man or LeBron James -- do they know Frodo and Samwise? Do they know Robin Hood? Romeo? Juliet?
