Everyone who has responded to my post of having one last chance to get our Dr. to give my husband an exemption, I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️🙏 We will not bend the knee but want to continue our life as it was pre-Biden.You have all made us feel that maybe we can. We have written our Religious Exemption letter based on we are pro-life and abhor the use of fetal cells in the development of these horrible vaccines. But now we need a pastoral letter. We do not belong to an established church. Anyone out there a certified Pastor who could help in any way?

No, you don't. You don't need to "prove" your religious beliefs.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, nor prohibit the free exercise thereof;" -- 1st Amendment, US Constitution
This applies to the states, as well, via the 14th Amendment, and probably via your state's constitution.
The government cannot determine what is or is not a religious belief. What makes a private party (business) think they have any legal authority to do it?
Stand your ground, and DEFEND YOUR RIGHTS.
DO NOT ASK PERMISSION.
To clarify: Do not ask permission for an exemption. Instead, plainly state that you cannot and will not agree to their attempt to change the employment contract regarding medial treatment because it is a violation of your right of religious freedom and violates your religious beliefs. They cannot pretend to dictate what religious beliefs you do or do not have. If they fire someone over their religious beliefs, they have a BIG legal problem on their hands.
What I found disturbing about “their” ( my husband’s employer) claim was that if you do not VOLUNTARILY get vaccinated you will be TERMINATED for “ ….BREACH OF YOUR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT”. I asked my husband if he agreed to be vaccinated against his will when he accepted the job 4 1/2 yrs ago? He said of course not. I asked “ Then how are you “breaching” your terms of employment if this was not part of your terms of employment?”
I have a suggestion.
YOU can become an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church by filling out a simple form online.
Universal Life Church
You are then a legal minister and are fully authorized to perform weddings and all other minister functions.
For $29.99, you can then get your Ordination Certificate, Wallet Card, Clergy Badge, Parking Hanger, Parking Packard, Window Cling and 3 Clergy Bumper Stickers. :>) Everything can be completed in about 15 minutes online. By this afternoon, YOU can be that minister you want to find.
As a minister of the Universal Life Church, you are fully capable of deciding what violates your religious principles. I know dozens of people who performed weddings that are ministers in the Universal Life Church. In fact, a very good friend of mine is one.
It's MUCH harder to persecute someone and dismiss their religious rights... if they are an ordained minister. :>) Beat them at their own game.
I wondered about this idea today. Thank you. You may now refer to me as Minister GenPattonT👍🇺🇸🇺🇸 You are a genius!!!
I would take the initiative and push back on management, making THEM uncomfortable.
They have questioned your religious beliefs and asked you to verify that you hold those beliefs sincerely. :>)
Inform management: "You DO realize that I am an Ordained Minister of my church? I have notified our international organization to inform them of your questioning of my faith as a minister. Our organization's legal department has likewise been notified."
Tell them "I have always believed in working together with my fellowman, and NOT intermixing my ministry with work. However, you calling MY faith into question inextricably links my faith and my work. As a licensed, ordained minister, I must now respond to this occasion by defending my faith, but defending my own calling as a minister. I have never insisted on religious titles, but from this point forward, you will refer to me at all times as either "Reverend GenPattonT" or "Father GenPattonT". No other terminology is acceptable. You have questioned my faith, and so from here onward I insist that you recognize my faith publicly through these titles. I will take this opportunity now to minister to any of my fellow employees who have valid religious concerns regarding the vaccination or any other related issues. Any who seek guidance from me will be called "Brother" in my faith, which is a title I expect to be adhered to by management is you are notified thus."
Basically, make them shit a brick! They were expecting to bully YOU into accepting their authority... but instead you are rocking THEM back on their heels. If they want to persecute you religiously, they have no idea the strength and influence of the church to which you belong. :>)
Keep in mind that most ALL states do NOT have specific licensing, nor have a specific state registry for ordained ministers. For example, California and Texas are two of the largest states in the nation, and neither require any form of registration to be an official Clergy Member and perform functions as an Ordained Minister within the state. New York, however, requires an online form and a $15 fee to perform services as an Ordained Minister. New York (as with all 50 States) DOES recognize the Universal Life Church, so there is no difficulty being state registered as needed. :>)
Have fun with it. Make management understand that THEY have opened an entire can of whoopass. Now we can either resolve this here quietly, or we can take this to the national organization level. :>)
You sir are a genus!
I got mine from this...

You are a true Patriot for sharing this🇺🇸🙏‼️
I find it blasphemous that these people ask to verify your relationship with God. What is their relationship with God? Pretty sure the point of God as that he is the only judge of one's relationship with him. This may help you

The only reason I am asking is because husband’s employer is UNLAWFULLY asking for a Pastoral letter for a religious exemption.
