For two years I have avoided places where Covid protocols are followed. Walked out of a hairdresser's after being sprayed, told to put on a mask and was not allowed to hang up my coat or given the customary drink of coffee or mineral water.
Avoided getting an eye test for the same reason but decided it was time to get one. Called for an appointment: will I have to wear a mask? Yes. In that case, no thanks.
After a minute's thought I decided it was time to fight back. Called back, thankfully I got the optician instead of the receptionist. Will the person doing eye tests be wearing a mask? Yes. Have they had the jab? Yes. So why do I need to wear one, are they not protected?
Guide lines. Against what? The pandemic. What pandemic, where are the makeshift mortuaries and mass graves? Don't you think its time to end this charade? Then pointed out that masks don't work etc.
He warned me that if I continued he would terminate the call. I said I have a mask exemption, and his response was he would check and get back to me. Time to challenge, not just walk away. This has to end. SPEAK OUT.
Places offering a service that necessitates close contact with clients will be the last to stop the protocols. There are more people who are afraid and expect the "safeguards" that those who know the facts. The sad thing is, people are getting used to the damned masks. Habits are hard to break.
