We here have seen enough of it. Apparently lot of the normies are still clueless, or else in denial. A liberal sister I don't get along with and haven't spoken to in 7 years called me out of the blue yesterday. One of the things she made a point of telling me was that she got the jab and then came down with the delta variant, and she acted all surprised about that. I didn't bother explaining all the things she doesn't know about the virus, the testing and the jabs because she never wants to hear truth from me.
Why did she call you though? Seems like the cracks in her vaxxer cognitive dissonance facade are widening and deepening. Did she call just to complain about her ineffective jab experience?
She actually wasn't complaining about her jab experience, just telling me about it in the middle of a the conversation. I have no idea why she called. I know what she said her reason was, but that may or may not have been true because she makes stuff up all the time, and she also often says a thing that hides her true agenda. If there are any cracks in her cognitive dissonance, which goes way beyond the vaxx issue, they weren't apparent.
Fren, it seems like your instincts are correct. Nobody calls a person randomly out of the blue after 7 years of no communication unless there's an intentional and significant emotional reason that compels them to. I have a strong suspicion that whatever she is telling you is not the real reason, and I can tell you also sense there's something else to her motives.
