This is unlike me, but I am a little down today. After rallying for months to inform and educate my closest cohorts that were originally Big Fat No's on the jab, this all feels like a major defeat. Some I talk to don't want to be subject to weekly tests if seeking an exemption and others just think it will be easier in the end. A question was brought up today during a staff meeting about boosters and if those will come into play. Management's delayed response spoke volumes citing "that isn't decided yet" which means it's being discussed.
In a town of shady dealers and sellouts, how does one fight City Hall and win? My husband and I are both faced with this predicament with two littles to tend to. I really hope you have advice for those of us near the edge of that cliff as we are running out of time.

Why ? Those words don’t pay rent or mortgage, or buy food, or pay for health insurance.
My company just mandated today, we have four little ones, and we both work there.
Sorry, down myself.
I feel for you. Sounds like we are in the same situation, just with 2 less mouths to feed. We have all of our eggs in one basket and have been waiting since Sept. 9th for the hammer to drop. We are both going to try for exemptions, although hub may play chicken and submit nothing to see if they will really fire him.
Also, regarding comfort, the words came from someone who cared enough to respond to my momentary grief and I am grateful for that.
