Federal mandate exists. It was just slapped on me by my workplace. It effects federal workers and all those who contract with the government, which is being interpreted as broadly as possible and so is huge. The general workplace with >100 people is coming, OSHA has not officially published it yet. Probably before the fed mandate goes into effect (Dec 8) I'd say. Watch for a wave of firings to get some companies under 100 people. Others will have people quit and will then fall under 100. But many will be forced because they want to eat and pay their rent/mortgage, like me.
