I watched it, first episode was tough red light/ green light, but was a little better after that. I agree with your sentiments though.

The show definitely wasn't typical, the imagery was through the roof.

The themes that caught me were the framing of that kind of dystopia as preferable to the real world, and the vibes of the prisoner experiment (whatever it was called).
