Right now 1.2 miles from my house a factory is paying 32/hr in a rural area. Houses are still relatively cheap,cost of living is low. If you are willing to look, you can probably move sooner than you think.
Believe it or not, rollforming. I'm IT, so to me it's fairly mundain, boring work, but you have to pay attention. Their safety is #1 and it's a good company to work for, but it is a factory job. If you can hack that, you've got it made.
