I think you could have made this point with a lot more kindness and compassion. I agree with everything you said, but its not something people can change with the flick of a finger. Maybe after this ordeal is over they will change their outlook and start living a life where they are not dependant on other people and can survive a few months without even a job. Infact, if there is one thing to learn here, it is this. You are not truly free if you depend on your job to stay alive, so to speak.
