Now that you've seen the pics, I'm curious as to what you think about it.
There is no way this could have happened unless it was intentional! Especially given he was a former President. Mistakes like these just don’t happen in the Marine Corps!
Nor the honor guard in the Army. Not possible. 100% intentional. Not just that, but it looks to me that the only way to get a flag to keep wrinkles like that would be to wet it, ball it up tight af and then let dry. Maybe just balling it up, but it would take days to get those wrinkles to stay like that on a military flag.
Exactly. If you handle the flag like that and it looks like you just pulled it out of a washing machine and dare put it on the casket of a Patriot, your ass will be handed to you. So, in other cases, the wrinkled flag is "allowed" on the casket, indicating that the person inside is getting the exact amount of respect that they earned. ZERO
