Prayer is important so thank you. Charlotte is about 2 hours from WNC. We have several communities just outside of Asheville that could use some help. Here’s a short list with some of the most damaged areas. This is by no means all inclusive:

Chimney Rock & Lake Lure, Fairview (my family’s township), Swannanoa, Marshall.

You’ll want a 4x4 to safely get in and out of these areas. Most of Chimney Rock and Lake Lure is only accessible by foot. The damage is indescribable. Mud slides, debris everywhere. Power and cell reception is dodgy at best. I’d recommend being armed. You’ll want to check which highways are open from Charlotte. My daughter setup a gofundme for my family that lost everything. I’ll DM you the link as soon as I can.

Anyone coming into the area should be 100% self-sufficient. As for donations, I’d try and find some locals you can donate directly to, otherwise save your money because giving it to Red Cross or the like is basically giving it to the cabal.

Asheville native here. I’d much prefer FEMA stay the fuck away. We have volunteers doing more for our communities than FEMA could ever imagine. I’m also hearing from reliable sources that armed militias are beginning to form which is a good thing. If these mother fuckers think they’re gonna roll through these mountains like they did in Maui, they’re gonna FAFO. Not everyone here is a commie leftard.

Yes, thank you for the reminder of what the awakening process does to you. It can suck. Bad. But the light is still present in Jesus. My family lost everything. We all live in WNC. My house is fine. There’s is gone. Flattened and washed away. Vehicles gone, tractors gone, outbuildings gone. The family my parents purchased their land from can trace their history all the way back to the days when the Cherokee still ruled the area. I know we’ll rebuild, it’ll just take time.

If you’re local and have a chainsaw you can help by removing trees from roads. They are downed trees everywhere.

I was reading a post about some nuclear explosions in the Middle East and elsewhere but I lost it. Did anyone else catch it or have the link?

These idiots can barely see past the nose on their smug faces. If you would have given me a million dollars when I was in my twenties or thirties, I’d spent it on hookers, blow, cars, and vacations with friends and I’d be flat broke today.

Cool! Thank you. I like mixing ACV with plain La Croix - makes a tasty carbonated drink. It’s my go-to when abstaining from alcohol (Sober October, Dry January, etc).

I’m a capitalist. I believe strongly in capitalism and its ability to lift people from poverty.

But when your company is making record profits, yet refuses to give you a raise, and your CEO gets a bonus of almost a BILLION dollars. Yeah, the term greddy fucks most certainly applies here.

“Malfunctioned” sounds like CIA to me. God bless this man.

Thank you. I understand amortization, the point I’m getting at is how will this not lead to more inflation? Lower rates will increase demand in a market that’s already low on inventory. The rules of supply and demand do not appear aligned with Trumps strategy here. Don’t get me wrong, I’d crawl through a pool of monkeypox faggots to vote for Trump. But this particular piece of his housing plan has me stumped.

ELI5 - how does reducing mortgage rates help lower the cost of homes? Everything I’ve watched seems to point to the opposite happening (increasing housing prices).

There was a Bitcoin fork as well. BTC vs BCH. Some folks still believe BCH is the “real” bitcoin.
