I'm interested in doing a cleanse myself but don't know dosage and duration, any advice will be appreciated

Funny story, I was doing some routine cleaning at MIL's house. She leaves food sit on the stove for weeks. Anyway, something smelled really bad and I was looking for the culprit. I saw a lid with what looked like rice but then.....it started wiggling. 😳🤮 Maggots!! I was so grossed out I took it to her and showed her trying to emphasize she needs to at least keep the food cleaned up so she's not breeding maggots/flies.😬
