If there was ever a point in time in this country there would be no "strongholds" There are liberals and conservatives everywhere.

It would be countrymen against countrymen. No real telling where any key battles would take place.

Agreed. It would be a hell on earth, coast to coast Guerrilla war. We need to exhaust all avenues before going this route. Most people have no understanding of how devastating our US civil war was, and this would make the original seem like a pillow fight
