The paste for horses is metabolized about five times (give it take) slower than the formulation for the human version, a dissolvable pill form meant penetrate the blood barrier immediately.

The reason is horse paste is supposed to linger in the digestive tract, moving slowly, killing worms, whereas the human formulation is meant to travel via bloodstream to the eyes in treatment of river blindness.

So there is no problem,except maybe proper dose (avoiding overdosing)
