Christ mocked his enemies. He called them all sorts of names. My favorite was "whited sepulchres".

Christ challenged the authority of the pharisees all the time as they had none. (At least the sadducees were descendants of Levi and Aaron.)

Let's not worship false gods, folks. The Bible is very accessible and none of us have any excuse not knowing what Christ did and said while on earth.
