I read the entire 2003 edition of the 'Limits to Growth' book back in 2016. It actually forecast the 'collapse' to start in 2013. The economy supposedly would exponentially collapse, with services and goods per capita going down and population peaking at 8.5 billion in 2025 or so.
At first, it scared the hell out of me because I thought we were headed for economic collapse and de-industrialization. But I found out that those assumptions were mostly wrong. These eco-doomers have been incorrect about mineral prices, oil prices, fossil fuel supply and the climate again and again for decades.
I realized that the purpose of the book was either the Cabal letting us know their plan, or just more climate doom garbage.
