I believe there is two reasons why the ships are not being unloaded. Security: The possibility of a missile being launched from a container is real. The device and capabilities exists and this is another reason why on both coasts the container ships have been pushed out further and also the reason why there are wall to wall Carriers and their fleets in the area. Starving funds: Those who are bringing in goods do not get paid until the containers land on the wharves. Are the WHs deliberately trying to financially scar China? Is this this reason for the delay?
