My guess is that 'right hand privilege' is used to explain how white privilege can exist and we don't even realize it.
So automobile controls, fishing reels, power tools, some sports equipment might show a distinct design which assumes people are right-handed. Although there are plenty of left-handed options out there, the vast majority will always before for right-handed people.
The lecturer is probably not actually demanding left-hand/right-hand privilege mitigation, but using it as an example to prove that straight white people have advantage over everybody else.

So what tool is out there that only works when a white person uses it?
