My wife is very empathetic and has had a difficult time buying the idea that there could be so much evil and the media is protecting/perpetuating the evil.
Then we got Covid (confirmed positive tests, yes). And we took ivermectin. It helped me get mostly better after only 10 hours of being real sick. Similar experience to Joe Rogan. For her she took it, was getting better, then secretly stopped taking it because she didn’t fully buy what I had told her about it. Then she got worse and worse while I got better. Two days later she said she’d take it again… and within an hour her symptoms went down. This morning (18 hrs later) she seems to be almost over it all.
I showed her that great doc on the history of ivermectin and she’s now finally taken the red pill because she experienced how this drug really does work and if people are suppressing it then… well… evil… and she’s now pissed about it… first major red pill.
If god is real and influences the world to help you, why did he let you get sick in the first place? You religtards are so fucking dumb. (In retrospect I apologize for the second sentence. It's childish, accomplishes nothing, and weakens any argument.)
What is dumb is being closed minded and believing everything is in a small box that only their inadequate senses can perceive.
The universe/God, whatever, works on it's own timeline. In it's own way that is was too intricate for a human mind to even begin to understand. It is both impersonal and cold but at the same time so personal and loving.
People can do what they want. What kind of world would exist without free will? Sometimes that free will has direct effects on other people.
The whole point is to love, grow and to learn. Would you not want to let your child learn and grow? Even if the only way they can is the hard way? You can tell them not to touch the stove. But they are going to do it anyway. Once they do, you can do what you need to, to make it better. Then they know not to touch the stove.
People get sick with all kinds of things for multiple reasons, some outside of our grasp. Why would this bio weapon, that someone else with free will created, that can directly effect others, be any different?
It is obvious your disdain comes from anger. You will have a better time if you just let that go. Let people believe what suits them. There is no need to mock others. Or be shut off and closed minded. If you never look for the signs, you will never learn to read them.
First you need to demonstrate that the existence of a god is even possible. Then you need to demonstrate a method that can be used by anyone regardless of belief for determining which god(s) out of the thousands man has invented is the true one, or maybe it's one man hasn't invented yet. We've been waiting thousands of years for even the tiniest shred of compelling, falsifiable evidence for the existence of god, but so far none has been presented. I'm extremely open minded and am willing to believe literally anything, if appropriate evidence can be presented, but alas for god none has ever been shown. So I lack belief in god same as I lack belief in leprechauns and other fictional characters.
Your loss fishy . It’s a choice to believe or not.
I choose logic and science. It's also your choice to believe in that or not, or stay part of a brainwashing cult that wants your tithes with the false promise of an afterlife for being a good, loyal servant of "god".
This man knows Gods plan better than God.
You can't know the plans of something that doesn't exist, but I do know logic, reasoning, and morals far better than any god I've heard of, especially the Christian god.
Because, contrary to the Calvinist Doctrine, He doesn't control everything and everybody.
Just what happens to be convenient for you. He will control ivermectin reaching you on time, sometimes, but apparently would rather not control you not getting covid in the first place.
My question is, how did OP know it was god's intervention that caused ivermectin to reach him on time? What method did he use to determine which god aided him? Might it have been Allah, or Perhaps Zeus?
And yet, it brought OP and his wife closer together and all they did was coof a bit.
Maybe Covid isn't a big deal and maybe your appeal to authority isn't as effective as you'd like to think.
You need to look up what appeal to authority fallacy actually is. You should also look up strawman arguments because that's what you just did.
There’s a reason why you don’t get it and never will
Because it's not based on science, facts, logic, or reason? Those are the opposite of faith.
Not necessarily the opposite of faith in God.
To believe in science, facts, logic, and reason, you’d have to have faith that you’ve been provided correct information. You’d have to have faith in your own ability to determine whether you have correctly interpreted the information.
So, faith isn’t just blindly accepting whatever comes your way.
Believing in those things is not the same kind of "faith" as that which is used by religious people to have faith in god. My "faith" in the stability of my chair, for instance, is from scientific knowledge of how chairs work and have been proven to work, as well as precedence of chairs working in the past. Sometimes the chair fails, and then one can study what went wrong, such as too much weight on the chair or a damaged piece of the chair.
With the other definition of faith used by the religious, they believe in god based on no science at all nor any precedence of some other god existing.
Therefore faith as it is used by religious people really is the opposite of science, logic, facts, and reasoning. Because none of those support god.
