My wife is very empathetic and has had a difficult time buying the idea that there could be so much evil and the media is protecting/perpetuating the evil.
Then we got Covid (confirmed positive tests, yes). And we took ivermectin. It helped me get mostly better after only 10 hours of being real sick. Similar experience to Joe Rogan. For her she took it, was getting better, then secretly stopped taking it because she didn’t fully buy what I had told her about it. Then she got worse and worse while I got better. Two days later she said she’d take it again… and within an hour her symptoms went down. This morning (18 hrs later) she seems to be almost over it all.
I showed her that great doc on the history of ivermectin and she’s now finally taken the red pill because she experienced how this drug really does work and if people are suppressing it then… well… evil… and she’s now pissed about it… first major red pill.
Nah, just pointing out logical inconsistencies in how your imaginary god operates as well as how you believers think. But then again, what's the point of prayer if not to ask god to change his divine plan for your benefit? Because if his divine plan is never changed, then prayer is pointless. Jesus himself said that if you believe hard enough you can perform miracles greater than what he supposedly did. So far this has not been true.
So why rely on the infinitely powerful creator of the universe when I could just trust the opinion of a 90 IQ atheist? Tough question.
Prayer is communication with God. But it is more for your own benefit to explicitly state what you are trying to say to God. God knows what you are praying before you pray it.
As for miracles, you're currently able to communicate with me from anywhere in the world using a device that people 2,000 years ago never dreamed of. You can even fly over here on a plane (you may have to book two seats for your wide girth but you can still do it). All these great advancements happened during the Christian era and almost all invented in Christian nations. Watch what happens when you throw that righteous faith out the window.
