Its a nice thought but most insuresrs have a Dr tbat tbey pay to decide what must be done vs what could be done. That Dr decides what should require prior auth not the person processing a claim. In a LOT of casss its a Med Dr that they give C level job and salary to.

Not saying its at all good or.morally correct practice but its not a random person deciding.

There are also many denials over cost. Dr says Need to do THIS and it costs THATS MUCH, insurer says , Not paying that price....denied.
