Just a quick note from this past week. I was at a survival meeting that lasted several days with about 1, 000 people. Several of them said that they now have curly hair after they had Covid-19. I was just wondering if anyone else has had that or heard of that happening.
If that is the case it would mean a change in their DNA or their gene expression.
Peoples' hair often changes after chemo -- grows back in gray or curly when it was straight before (or the reverse). A shock to the system will do this and there are reports of peoples' hair turning white almost overnight due to shock, so I wouldn't jump to the conclusion it means a DNA change.
