Was walking past the lottery kiosk while exiting the store and noticed something: when's the last time we saw jackpots over $100 million? We got so used to these $300+ million Powerball and MegaMillions jackpots and I've realized that they've not cracked $100 million in at least a month now. If the people are walking away from buying lottery tickets even then it's an indication of something.

What date? They've been this low for almost a month now and building up much slower than before.
A $700m Powerball jackpot was won on October 3rd.
Megamillions peaked probably 6-7 weeks ago.
All that info is on their website. They always reset to around $25m and then slowly build back up.
They build exponentially so, the higher they go, the larger the increase between drawings. When they reset, the build up is slow at first but gathers steam as the amount moves up and more people are enticed to play.
