It is common to hear people, whether in an online video or in person exclaim Oh My God, sometimes over and over. This way of reacting to things has always chaffed me a bit. I was taught from childhood that the name of God, or Jesus Christ should only be used in a reverent context.
I have use the lords name invain before, but I've never use it and not immediately repented for doing so.
If I feel a need to attach a pronoun to my exclamatory phrases, I tend to use the traditional southern boogie man, John Brown, as in "That John Brown this, or that.
