Being raised in a religious household doesn't mean you were ever a Christian. If you were, you are finding your way back. If you never were, consider praying this simple little prayer (in your own words.) "God, I don't know what I believe. I wasn't sure you were real, but now I wonder. I just want to know the truth. Lord, if you are real, please reveal yourself to me." The only caveat is to be sincere; no mocking, no flippancy. Just humble yourself and ask the God of all creation to reveal Himself to you.
